The drug law of Switzerland (BetmG) about drugs and psychotropic materials dates from 1951. Working on the amendment of this law is in progress since 2001. The anchorage of the 4-pillar-strategy is planned: prevention, therapy, damage reduction and repression. The heroin-supported treatment is to be taken up to the catalog of the therapeutic measures. The protection of children and young people is to be improved and the cantons to offers to prevention and therapy to be generally obligated.

The drug order (BetmV) of may 1996 was changed for the last time on Sept. 2004. This order transfers the authority to control and to regulate handling with drugs on the Swiss Institut Swissmedic.

In the drug order Swissmedic (BetmV Swissmedic) from Oct. 1996 includes the drug material lists, comparably to the enclosures of the German BtmG.

Das Betäubungsmittelgesetz der Schweiz (BetmG) über die Betäubungsmittel und die psychotropen Stoffe stammt vom 3. 10. 1951. An der Novellierung dieses Gesetzes wird seit 2001 gearbeitet. Geplant ist die Verankerung der 4-Säulen-Strategie: Prävention, Therapie, Schadensverminderung und Repression. Die heroingestützte Behandlung soll in den Katalog der therapeutischen Massnahmen aufgenommen werden. Der Jugendschutz soll verbessert und die Kantone allgemein zu Angeboten zur Prävention und Therapie verpflichtet werden.

Die Betäubungsmittelverordnung (BetmV) vom 29.05.1996 ist letztmalig am 07.09.2004 geändert worden. Diese VO überträgt dem Schweizerischen Heilmittelinstitut die Kontrollbefugnisse, den Umgang mit Drogen zu regeln.

In der Betäubungsmittelverordnung Swissmedic (BetmV-Swissmedic) vom 12. 10. 1996 sind die Stofflisten, vergleichbar den Anlagen zum deutschen BtmG, enthalten.

Le loi sur les stupéfiants de la Suisse () vient de 1951. On travaille à la modification de cette loi depuis 2001. L'incorporation du stratégie de 4-piliers est projetée : prévention, thérapie, diminution de dommages et répression. Le traitement avec l'héroïne doit être pris dans le catalogue des mesures thérapeutiques. La protection de la jeunesse doit être améliorée et les cantons en général obligés à des offres à la prévention et à la thérapie.

L' Ordonnance de l'OFSP sur les stupéfiants (OStup-OFSP)de 1996 a été modifié pour la dernière fois en 2004. Cette reglement transfère les pouvoirs de contrôle à l'institut Swissmedic.

Dans l'ordonnance sur les stupéfiants Swissmedic (OStup Swissmedic) de 1996 il y a des listes de matière de drogues, comparable les installations au BtmG d' Allemagne.
