Encyclopedia of Drugs is the English version of the German website Drogen-Wissen and will describe generally comprehensibly terms and connections to the drug topic.
Besides, interdisciplinary co-operation between chemists, the medical profession, lawyers, psychologists, teachers and other fields has to be facilitated. Technical terms should made more transparent, as well as contacts between authorities, organisations, companies and other with drug problems employed persons should be facilitated. The latter is to be achieved also by the drug link lists, which offered an accelerated and purposeful access to the countless sides of the web.
Since 2003 Drogen-Wissen is available also as book edition (in German). In January 2005 the German on-line version 2.0 was available. Since October 2005 the English version Encyclopedia of Drugs as part of a future European Community edition started.
