Greek: "entheos". Designation of a poetic or prophetic inspiration. The term was shaped 1979 by Jonathan Ott for psychoactive, hallucinogenic active substances, which cause "the subjective experience of the divine". Entheogens are nature drugs used for ritual or religious purposes of priests, for example the Yaje (Ayahuasca) of the Shamans.
