Application

Treatment of depressions, especially when the patient is experiencing difficulty sleeping. Also used in cases of anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Contraindications

Do not use with alcohol intoxication, diseased enlargement of the Prostata or Glaukom. While the pregnancy and in the quiet time do not use.

Reciprocal effect

Strong Adverse Effects with MAO Inhibitors! Blood pressure-reducing as well as sedating medicines and alcohol can be strengthened in its effect.

Analytics

The blood level of Clomipramine can take place after extraction by means of HPLC/DAD. Therapeutic Blood level: 0.09-0.25 µg/ml.
