Treatment of depressions, sleeping disturbance and loss of appetite.
Do not use during pregnancy. Do not use by suffering from epilepsy, hypotension or glaucoma.
Benzodiazepines, alcohol and histamines are effect-strengthening. Combination with MAO inhibitors cause fever, cramps and unconsciousness.
The following symptoms can occur in connection with Maprotiline: Tiredness, mouth dryness, stomach intestine disturbances, problems with urination, visual disturbances, release of a glaucoma, heart lawn and heartbeat disturbances, reduced blood pressure, swindle, unrest, sleep disturbances, muscle tremor, allergic skin reactions.
The blood level determination of Maprotiline can take place after extraction by means of HPLC/DAD. Therapeutic blood levels: 0.1-0.6 µg/ml.
