Application

Treatment of depression, anxiety, sleep disturbances.

Reciprocal effects

Strong anticholinergic side effects (tachycardie, hypotension) up to pharmacogenic delir. do not use during pregnancy or lactation period.

Adverse Effects

Strong interaction with MAO inhibitors.

Analytics

Determination of Doxepine by HPLC/DAD. Therapeutic blood level 0,01-0,2 µg/ml, Metabolite Nordoxepine 0,05-0,15 µg/ml.
