Treatment of depressive illnes and anxiety.
Interactions
Do not use with MAO inhibitors, because of the danger of a Serotonine syndrome. Do not use with patients under 18 years of age. Do not use during pregnancy.
Adverse Effects
Especially at the beginning, nausea can occur. When setting off, reduce dose slowly, increased risk of suicides.
Analytics
The determination of Sertraline can take place after extraction by means of HPLC/DAD. Therapeutic levels: 0.05-0.25 µg/ml.
