Treatment of depressions. In the USA, studies run for the treatment of children with fear conditions.
Interactions
Do not use with MAO inhibitors, because of the danger of a Serotonine syndrome. Do not use at the same time with Tizanidin (Sirdalud®)
Adverse Effects
Especially at the beginning, nausea, constipation, agitation and weight loss can occur. When setting off, reduce dose slowly, increased risk of suicides.
Analytics
The determination of Fluvoxamine can take place after extraction by means of HPLC/DAD. Therapeutic levels: 0.15-0.25 µg/ml.
